BUILDING BETTER BOATS SINCE 1996
We started as a boutique shop with a simple philosophy: completely rethink boat design around the human experience. Today, we build the SAFEst, toughest, and most confident-handling vessels on the water.
S.A.F.E.
Secure. Around. Flotation. Equipped.
Founded in 1996, SAFE Boats International (SAFE) is headquartered just outside Seattle, Washington in the city of Bremerton. SAFE Boats is 100% American employee owned and operated.
Our dedicated team of designers, engineers, project managers, builders, craftsmen and trainers work as an integrated team to build every SAFE vessel. Many of these professionals have extensive field experience. In addition to delivering high-performing and durable vessels, SAFE also provides customers with outstanding warranty, service and parts support, as well as direct access to a comprehensive in-house support network of trainers, technicians and logisticians.

Facilities
200k sq ft of production space across 2 facilities
SAFE Boats operates out of two elite manufacturing facilities in Washington State, precision-engineered to build the world’s toughest vessels. Our 100,000-square-foot headquarters in Bremerton serves as the nerve center for our production, proprietary collar R&D, and comprehensive training programs. For vessels over 65 feet, our large-craft production takes place at our Tacoma Facility—a historic WWII Navy shipbuilding site situated directly on Commencement Bay. Featuring over 37,000 square feet of covered production space, secure moorage, and immediate water access for launch and testing, this secondary hub completely eliminates the risks and delays of over-the-road transport, ensuring your massive patrol ships go straight from our floor to the front lines.

Engineering the Solution
SAFE Boat Innovations
Answering questions like “What if it gets really rough out?”, “How do we prevent captain and crew fatigue?”, and “What if we hit debris?”, led to industry-leading, proprietary technology.

Impact & Flotation
Our proprietary, 100% foam collar system is more durable, reliable, and serviceable than any collar system on the water.

Agility & Maneuverability
Performance fin technology for tight, high-speed cornering.

Smoother Ride experience
Optimized V-shaped hulls, deadrise combinations, and shock-mitigating seating to slice through chop and reduce operator fatigue.

Uncompromising Quality
ISO 9001 Certified
At SAFE Boats, excellence is a standard, not just a goal. We understand that in your line of work, quality isn’t an option—it’s an absolute necessity. Our ISO 9001 certification isn’t just a badge; it’s our promise that every aspect of our operations adheres to the most rigorous international standards.
