Director of Business Development

The Director of Business Development, Large Craft Programs is responsible for strategic growth, new business planning, pursuit capture planning, orders forecasting, market and competitive research, marketing communications, customer and partner relationship management, business case analysis, market and opportunity development, capture strategy, bid and proposal activities for SAFE Boats International Large Boat Programs.

Specific goals to grow top line sales in the FMS and International markets along with USN opportunities with focus on larger maritime patrol vessels within the SAFE Boats portfolio. Ideally, the Director of Business Development Large Craft Programs will have experience working in the US Government Maritime and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) markets, along with International Direct Commercial Sales Markets (DCS), with hands-on experience in the developing strategies, relationships and solutions to include pricing to respond to Government Request for Proposals (RFP) and FMS pursuits.

Aluminum Welder - Bremerton

Under limited supervision the Facilities Maintenance Technician will to set-up and conduct preventive maintenance, installations, upgrades, trouble shooting and repair of industrial machinery and other related equipment. TACOMA -MIG Aluminum Welder

Under limited supervision, operates welding equipment using appropriate GMAW techniques to weld aluminum plate and extrusion in all positions, occasionally in a confined space. Prepares weldments using tool such as saws, routers, grinders, pneumatic cutting tool, wire brushes and various hand tools of the trade. Basic interpretation of blue prints, drawing, welds symbols and schedules to layout patterns on material. Performs tack welding in the fabrication phase of construction and the Pre-fab of sub-assemblies such as bulkheads, girders, decks and pilot house using jigs and fixtures. The operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, man lifts and other boat building equipment. Secures small parts for assembly & welding, keeps work area professionally neat and secure.
